One of my most faverite handguns are those that fire both fo these cartridges, To me its gives you the best of both worlds in shooting a quality gun.

...Yeah; Having a Revolver or a Pistol that fires two different cartridges, is like having a double edge sword. This was what sold me on the Sig Sauer .40 S&W / 357 sig pistols.

My all time faverite is a Revolver made by S@W, its the model 627 which is a 8 shot with a 5" barrel on it. Nickel plated with wood grips. Its a very beautiful finely crafted handgun with extremely great balance to it as well. I will own one hopefully in the near future.

Blueglass, my wife found my 627 the other day while she was "cleaning", which is her term for snooping. She wasn't pleased, but at least it wasn't loaded. I have the 627-5, but it is in stainless steel and is the version from the Performance Center with the "gold"-dot front sight. It came with the rubber grips as well as with the wooden ones. I shot it first with the rubber and then put the wood grips on, which it currently has. I found that it was just as easy to shoot with the wood grips. On the left side of the barrel it says: "357 Mag - 8 Times".
My brother is coming in two days and I know he is going to want to shoot the H&K P7, which is his favorite, and I don't have a clue where it is. Maybe I can please him with the 627.

Hmmm. Your plan is to placate a man yearning for a squeeze-cocker with a big ol' revolver?

MLB, just dropped them off at the DFW airport. My wife kept them busy: 60 bags of mulch just as one of the things. The back "yard" got kind of out of control while I was overseas. So we never made it to the range, but I did let him "play" with some of my guitars.

T-Man I am tottaly jealous of your 357 as thats exactly the one I want. I have been able to fondle one but not shoot it as yet as my LGS. It was a slightly used one but in mint shape. I would have sold my ? to get it at the time. If I can work a deal for my 1963 m46 towards one or even my 1958 M41 long barrel which is in mint shape I will real quick. My mouth drools when ever I see one of them.
