....If you really want to have fun day at the range; Take a .44 magnum or a .357 magnum revolver to an indoor range, when county police are there. Alot of them only wears the Hearing Protection muffs, without the inner plugs, carries 9mm or .40 S&W Glocks. Make sure that you give a thought to those tickets you were given, that you never deserved, while your banging their ear drums.I usually carry twenty full speedloaders when I arrive, to keep the pace up before they can prepare for it.The Cartridges, that disburbs them the most, is the full power defensive magnums,Semi-Jacketed Hollow Points. These cartridges pierces through those ears drums, like a Screaming Infant.Guaranteed to give those Traffic Ticket Peddlers, migranes that they will not soon forget. ....I have been asked to moved to another Range Bay, more than once, for Disturbing The Peace.
Somebody needs to inform these people, that The Shooting Range is not a Hospital Zone.

Sounds like they have NO sense of humor at all. If I was there shooting 1st I would consider it quite rude to be asked to move when I have done 000 wrong. They sound like real girl thingy's and that's what we would call them here for even thinking that. Too Bad for their heads is my thoughts. Obviously not Men in the real sense of the word. Here they take a hint and just move down the line if they don't have proper gear on their person. You just don't ask others to move because of your error. That's Rude in our eyes.

Hey, I cleared out an outdoors open range. I was shooting a .223 pistol. My buddy was two stalls away from me when I fired the first shot. I heard him yell, turned around and he was squatted down in the corner covering up his head. "My God, what blew up?" I probably shouldn't have laughed so hard. He probably has a hard time making friends or I wouldn't still be his friend. I also cleared people out shooting the Bond Arms pistol in .357 Magnum.

Have they never heard of proper Hearing protection. They should not be on the line if they are not dressed for it in a proper fashion. You should hear the Load retort from my one 44 cal Black powder pistol. It will stand folks right up and shoots a 2 foot flame as well. Folks think its a small canon going off. I shoot it one handed as well. There's virtually No kick to this pistol at all. Great Fun.

It isn't just the noise at an indoor range, it is the pressure. Years ago at Bass Pro Shops I was in Lane 5 and there was a guy shooting a 45 +P+ loads down on Lane 1. The pressure kept hitting me, and I had a young girl with me that had never shot before. Since they don't allow 44 Magnum, I went down to his lane and with a smile asked him what the heck he was shooting.

We don't allow any full metal jacket or 45APC on our indoor range. The backstop is 1" plated amoured steel which will stop most of this but over time will cause serious damage to it. They can go to our outdoor range and shoot those two all they want if they wish but not indoor at all. We also see a lot of older military ammo cartriges on the ranges in the last few years. 223,556. and 7.62X39. Also 762x25 for the Tokarov's which are only $179.99 new here. Cheap Russian Army Officer Pistols with No safeties on them. They have lousy sights on them and are not very accurate at all. They use a Bottleneck style cartridge. I think most of the guys with these are doing well to hit the Barn let alone the Barn Door with one.

Thats not right at all and those that ask should be told be told so as well. If they don't prepare for the noise then they should not be there or any where's near the shooting line. We have run into situations similar to this as well at my club and I for one do set them straight on it.
