So, it took a long time, but I finally got the Les Baer Monolith H.W. that is to be the donor gun for my 460 Rowland Conversion. Therefore, I finally opened the box for the conversion.
It comes with two springs: 20lb and 24lb. On each is a warning that they are not responsible for dental damage. One thing bothers me: I thought that the barrel and slide had to be fitted in someway for it to lock up properly.
In the box are a new recoil rod and the barrel with the bushing and compensator already attached to the barrel. Looking at the matting surface, it looks like they used the red locktite to install it.
There is also a modified barrel wrench because you would never get a regular bushing wrench on it.
(Yes, I have another Les Baer Monolith H.W., but I didn't want to take the risk of screwing it up, and I would have had to find it. I'm not known for having a good filing system.

curious to hear your progress and range report. I've got a couple projects in the works. Waiting on parts for most of them. Then it'll be making the time now that things are getting greener.

5OT, I got side-tracked. I found out that electrolytic capacitors get leaky when they are old. (I guess it happens to people too, which is why they make adult diapers. So I've identified and ordered replacements, and the 460 Roland is on the back burner. I did get the water into the streams and the pumps swapped out (Circulation pump when the streams are operational and sump pump to keep the water out of them when the whole thing is shut down for the winter. I also got the fountain uncovered and water in it. Now all I have to do is get the waterfalls back on-line and get the pool cleaned out and get ready for company next week.
