.....After firing both revolvers and firing the Python many times, it didn't take me but a few rounds to find why ....Jerry Miculek would use the S&W 27. The shorter trigger stroke, the shorter hammer fall, the smooth light trigger, and the less recoil with large frame S&W N-Frame 27, would answer my question why Jerry Miculek preferred the S&W. Not only this, the S&W revolvers are much easier to work on, or find gunsmiths to do the work. I have never double Tapped a Double Action Revolver, until I shot my S&W 27-2 revolver. Therefore; I choose the S&W 27-2 over the Python. Some not not agree, but, that's your choice.
