Not sure about the Diamondback, but the Python is a .357, and the Anaconda is a 44.

Wasn't the Diamondback a .38 Special?

The Diamondback is chambered for the 38 special, and the .22 rimfire. It is built on the short frame, which is shared by the detective special. The large frame Anaconda is chambered for the .44 magnum and .45 colt, with a much stronger workmanship than that of the Python. Given the three choices, the Python continues to remain the Flagship in Colt's line up of double action revolvers.
