Data; Sigarms is a separate company than that of SIG, Sauer, or Hammerli. In the wake of the Clinton admistration's support of the law suits against the gun manufacturers, several companies in the U.S. were sold, including Sigarms and Smith and Wesson. Whether these sales had anything to do with the law suits, may only be coinsidence, but on the other hand, who knows for sure. The sale of Sigarms had certain portions of the company's holdings transferred to the new ownership, I have more details of the sale located somewhere in my archives of periodicals.
