If that article was written in 2001, you'd think we'd have heard something by now.

Too many times have I been sitting next to someone, when they say something, I answer, only to turn around and find them talking on their cell phone. Reminds me of the movie "Taxi Driver", where Robert Deniro asked the question, " You talking to Me?".

Are you suggesting giving them one of these phones?

I work security at a Federal Building.
I'm wondering why it took them until early-2003 to issue us a warning about the phone-guns.

I work security at a Federal Building. I'm wondering why it took them until early-2003 to issue us a warning about the phone-guns. Because they are not really a threat. I have not heard of a phone gun being used to hurt anyone at this time. THE REAL THREAT ARE THE SOCCER MOMS AND WORKING CELL PHONES DRIVING BIG ASSESD SUVS. They send thousands of innocent victims to the emergency room every year and are responsible for more than a few deaths...... Perhaps that is the "WARNING THAT NEEDS TO BE ISSUED". ;D

Ha, and impatient PITA soccer moms in minivans who drive them as if they think they're in a Ferrari. That's okay, after having owned a pickup truck for 9 years, I know just where to take any SUV & lose 'em: curves & upgrades. I gun my Camry & wave bye-bye in the rear view. Try keeping up with me for any length at about 90 - they can't - plus I know they can actually see their fuel needles going down, down, down, heehee. Tactical defensive survival driving - I've practically had to invent it here in this loony driver state, lol.
