Of the ones I own; The best I've shot with, at 25 yds,was with my Sig 229 Sport in .357 sig, standing. For 10 to 15 yds., it's the 1911s (Faster Triggers).

For me, my Ultra Carry II is by far more accurate than my Ruger P944 or my Glock 27 was.

With out a doubt, my Taurus 608 .357 Magnum. The 6 1/2" barrel probably is the main reason.

Best Center-fire was a CZ-75 9mm. Great groups at 25yds.

I seem to be the most accurate with my Colt Commander or my Gold Cup. This is probably due to the amount of shooting they see. My Springfield Mil-Spec is almost as good. I believe the difference has to do with the way the Ed Brown grip safety fits my hand vs the Stock Springfield grip safety.
Other guns that hold the potential to be as accurate, if I used them more, would be the P7 PSP, the S&W M27. I don't shoot them enough to just pick them up and start hitting tight groups or single holes though.
My MOST accurate pistol is the Ruger MKII Government, but then it's not a centerfire. Guns that surprised me were the Star B, and my Beretta 92FS after I lightened up the mainspring. The WWII Springer surprised me as well once I got used to the tiny sights.

So far, it seems to be my Springfield 1911. My Sig P239 also does very well, but I haven't put as many rounds through it yet.

The Sig's in order: P210-6, P228, and P220S. I think the P220S will prove to be better than the P228 in the long run, but I haven't shot it enough (since it is such a pain to clean). Then the Baby Eagle and CZ75 are tied. Personally, I like the CZ75 better than I do the Baby Eagle, but I really don't know why - just feel I guess.
I wasn't very accurate with the P210-6 until I bought "Uncle Mike's Gloves". I tended to lose focus thinking about "will the hammer make me bleed?"
